The Italian cuisine is surprising and very good. Low mark-up wines. Great swimmming pools. Extensive grounds. Easy access to Girona and the coast. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel dog is fun and friendly, but its droppings are everywhere. There is no breakfast before 9 o'clock and no tea or coffee making facilities in-room.

The room is spotlessly clean and airy and essentials you need, including an electronic key card, flat-screen TV, and a dining area, is right there. It offers stunning location near to suggested attractions nearby Gala-Dali castle in Pubol, which was absolutely amazing, Gala-Dali castle in Pubol and restaurants in the village. Everything was perfect during our 4-day stay, we especially loved the great location near Spain, restaurants, and the outskirts of the area.

The warm and welcoming response of the two proprietors. The relative quiet of the location and it's proximity to the beautiful medieval village of Peretallada. The very attractive gardens and the style of the house and accommodation.

The room was really lovely, with a secluded rear mini terrace and an area at the front with a table and chairs outside. The grounds were beatuiful with forest on the edge and very pleasant walking and the swim/plunge pools in summer (when the weather is warm) would be great!
However, as I particularly booked due to their Italian restaurant, which I discovered only upon arrival was closed as I went out of season, I ended up in a restaurant in town whuch was a miserable experience. Not sure this is a good location for solo travellers of a conservative nature.

As young people, we loved the amazing pools and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit and delicious options like fried eggs and omelettes. The hospitality of Joanne and her helpful tips made our stay even more enjoyable. And of course, we can't forget to mention the lovely Bimba, the hotel's little dog who welcomed us every day. We would definitely visit again.
Felt well taken care of, no complaints whatsoever.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Aatu. The location was peaceful and secluded, with a lovely medieval town just a short walk away. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with a spacious room and all the necessary amenities. The pool areas were quiet and relaxing, perfect for adults looking to unwind. The staff, especially Joanna and Fatima, were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options including gluten-free bread. a fantastic hotel with wonderful staff and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

Nestled in a peaceful location on the outskirts of a charming medieval town, this hotel offers easy access to both Girona and the coast. A restaurant a few kilometers away provides excellent culinary options, although the village also offers an enchanting array of small restaurants around every corner. the comfortable rooms provide a peaceful ambiance and air conditioning and other amenities ensure a restful stay.
The hotel staff may need to improve their customer service manners to avoid unpleasant surprises.
